Junior Miss Wigan makes judging debut
So I have been super super busy revising for my exams which start next week, it still hasn’t sunk in but that’s just me, I wont feel the nerves until the day of my first exam! But apart from that I have had a hectic few weeks with my duties as Junior Miss Wigan and also some good news for everyone too.
Firstly, I had the pleasure of judging Junior Miss Preston 2016 a few weeks ago with the lovely Giorgia Frost (Junior Miss Bolton & Bury 2015/16) and Skye Bo Mitchell (Junior Miss North West 2014/15). We had the difficult choice of crowning one of the many girls with the title of Junior Miss Preston 2016 who then would go straight to the national final of Britain’s Junior Miss in November. Anyway, at the end of the night we welcomed Elli Westwood to Team North, I can only say that she is genuinely a lovely and down to earth girl and she has done some amazing things so far.
The Monday after I judged Junior Miss Preston, was the final for Miss Preston at which Elizabeth Grant was crowned and was also welcomed to Team North, some of the amazing things that her and Elli have done so far have really been superb! So congratulations to you both for your titles, I look forward to watching your journeys alongside you both!
The next thing I would like to inform all of you lovely people who have taken the time to read this blog is that I have organised a charity night for the amazing charity Joining Jack. This night will consist of live music and dancing and other performances throughout, so please if you’re free on Friday 17th June, buy a ticket and help find a cure for DMD. You can find out more about the charity at www.joiningjack.co.uk
BUT….I have some exciting news to share with you all, as I will still be the current Junior Miss Wigan in November this year, I will be representing Wigan at Britain’s Junior Miss!! How exciting!! The preparations are underway and I will be keeping you all updated with what’s happening and what I’m up to on my Facebook page and I will be writing a lot more in my blogs.
Also on the 6th June I will be partaking in a catwalk, on stage, at the Miss Southport final. This is something I very excited about as I will be meeting up with some of the girls who I will be in the national final with in November which is thrilling as I cant wait to meet new girls whom I haven’t met before. Making friends is the best thing about the North West heats as I have made so many friends that I speak to on a regular basis and will cherish their friendship forever!
